Sorry about the delay and I can give hundreds of excuses, but simply put I didn't take the time to write this. Sort of like when your kid was assigned to build a volcano for a science fair three months ago and they tell you about it two days before its due. Let's use that for this weeks input or reply and the topic will be: "One time I was in school or my child was in school and had this project that involved....................
Anything that involved power tools and/or chemicals will get extra credit. Yes folks this is the assignment and I want postings from everyone.
So onto to last night, actually four nights ago. In my humble opinion Rob has played the best so far and I know I will get cards and letters for saying that, but so what. Colby thanks J.T. for helping them get Cirie out instead of Tom. Rupert is now pissed at J.T. and we find out later that Colby really doesn't trust J.T. either. We then see J.T. swearing to Amanda he didn't do it to save Tom or Colby. Yeah and Tiger Woods didn't cheat on his wife because he thought he could away with it. Going off the beaten path here, I wonder how long Tiger Woods would last on Survivor if they had a couple's show where his wife appeared along side him. I bet you bottom dollar they wouldn't have any challenges involving golf clubs. Okay, that's the last swing at Tiger Woods for the entire year, I promise. Getting back to J.T. I think that boys days are numbered as Rupert, Colby and Amanda don't trust him. Although unless the heroes start winning challenges it won't mean a thing.
Coach has the entire villains tribe doing Chi while Russell does what Russell always does and that is looking for the idol. We then move onto the same challenge they did last season playing basketball in a pit with the winner getting chocolate. The highlights were limited to a big time wrestling move by Rupert slamming Jerri's face into a post (I am wondering if her face imprint is on the post ala the shroud which contains the face of Jesus) J.T. slamming Coach to the ground and James hurting his knee and the villains winning again. OH YEAH, what's up with Jeffy again? Jeff asks Colby, "What's going on," and Colby replies, "Let's play," which Jeff responds "We'll play when I say you play," or something that a fifth grade gym teacher would say to the class just before he picks sides for dodge ball. WOW, Jeff taking charge, yeah dude join the game tough guy. It's easy to say that stuff when you are a pedestrian. (Going after the host is new for me)
After the chocolate party Russell tells Parvati he has found the idol and will help her. You just told one of the most untrustworthy players in the history of Survivor that you will help her. This is the same girl that made a living out of blindsiding guys in the past and you want to partner up with her? What a dink, yes I said dink. Russell then goes to Coach and tells him also. Coach replies just like the girl who gets asked to the prom by the guy who made fun of her all year. Coach says, "You give me your trust that says a lot." Yeah it says Coach should wear the shirt that says "STUPID" on the front and Russell should wear the shirt that says "I'm with Stupid," with the arrow pointing to Coach. We then see Amanda crying because James might not return because of his injury and Candance saying we need to get rid of dead weight meaning James.
The immunity challenge involves everyone being blindfolded except the caller who directs their teammates to find puzzle pieces in an open area. The two highlights of this involved Rob who in one scene walks groin high into a puzzle piece and in the next clip we see him holding one hands over the family jewels. That made me laugh because it wasn't me. The villains win again as the heroes once again can't seem to put a simple puzzle together. The names up for vote are James, Tom and Candance. James would be the obvious because of his injury but...............After thinking about Tom getting voted off it made more sense in the long run. First, he has won before and you all know my stance on putting former winners against non winners. Secondly, in the long run if you are able to make it to the merge with James, he is hurt which makes it less likely he can win challenges and he either likes people or doesn't which makes him less likely to draw jury votes in the end. Candance was the third person being talked about for votes and she has to learn to curb her comments about other people such as "That would be stupid." Anybody got a second STUPID t-shirt handy.
Next week we see Rob and Russell going nose to nose for the first time. I hate to say this but I hope Rob beats his ass.
